URGENTLY LOOKING FOR A HOUSEMATE FOR EAST LOS ANGELES DUPLEX BY JAN 1

Hello everybody! n___n;
My name is Joanne, and I go to art school full time in Pasadena and work full/part time in LA. I live in a one bedroom duplex in Eagle Rock (LA), but it happens to be on the border of Highland Park and it’s very close in proximity to the 134 and 110 freeways. I occupy the living room space of my home, and my roommate occupies the single bedroom. My roommate just told me that she’s dropping out of the school we both attend so I am in dire need of a new roommate! I pay for rent myself and I absolutely cannot afford to pay the entirety of the rent by myself for even one month.

Because she’s moving out by the end of December, I really need a new roommate by January 1. You would be taking the single bedroom and you will also have a side door that only you have keys to, so you don’t have to use the front door and walk through my living space. I am renting the unit with a monthly rental agreement, therefore you will have to be financially stable enough to be signed onto the rental agreement, or be cosigned by someone more stable than yourself.

Details: rent costs $700 a month, and utilities will vary from $35-60, depending on our energy and gas usage. I take care of all the bills and I just give you a comprehensive total you have to pay to me, and by when. A washer and dryer are included in the house. Additionally, I do all the dishes, clean the house monthly, and cook to the best of my abilities to make sure there’s food in the fridge.
