so many people have no concept of how important popular culture is to the keeping in place and strengthening of islamaphobia and racism against middle easterners……like bill maher isnt just an annoying white comedian who amuses n builds up the egos of “enlightened” smug white guys like himself, richard dawkins isn’t just a slightly eccentric old scientist and his books and stupid tweets aren’t just ignorant, and clint eastwood isn’t just a decrepit old white man in hollywood making an action film………they and the culture they produce are literally causing the deaths of innocent people.
